During our Teleschool time, this unit will be modified so that students can participate and learn from home. Activities will be posted on the CCES website, under Academics, Teleschool, TAG.
Architecture Architecture is a critical and higher order thinking skills unit. Throughout the unit students will look at the homes built by ants, birds, and beavers. They will engage in higher level questioning to better understand why animals and humans build the structures they build. Students will learn about the different architectural shapes and why they are used, and know that the dome, arch, and column are the three basic shapes used in architecture. Students will be introduced to different periods of architectural history and to some of the famous architects.
